This month we read All Sinners Bleed by S.A. Cosby, a story about black sheriff in a small town with a serial killer on his hands. A year after Titus Crown is elected the first black sheriff in Charon County, a school teacher is killed by a former student and the student is fatally shot by Titus’s deputies. As Titus begins to investigate the shooting, he unearths something even more sinister happening in his small town. A serial killer hiding in plain sight. As the bodies are piling up, Titus projects confidence about closing the case while concealing a painful secret about his own past. Overall the group rated this a 3.5/5 stars!
