June Book Club

This month we read Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy. When Rowan washes up on the shore of Shearwater in search of her husband, Dominic and his family quickly start to question why she is there. The Salt family are the only remaining caretakers left on the island and are meant to be packing up the largest seed bank. As the Salts nurse Rowan back to life, their suspicion gives way to affection and they finally start feeling like a family again. But Rowan isn’t telling the whole truth about why she set out for Shearwater and she soon learns that Dominic is keeping his own dark secrets. Overall the group rated this a 3/5!
